I am a graduate of NWMSU. I have B.S. in elementary and secondary vocal and instrumental music with an emphasis in piano. I have been married for 36 years to Mike. Mike is also a Northwest graduate. He taught music for 27 years and is now a licensed funeral director.
We have two children. Our son Tyler, his wife, Danny and sons Simon and Dante live in Spokane, Washington. Tyler will soon be leaving to study a couple years in Germany under a Humboldt Scholarship and and Danny teaches at Gonzaga University. Both are philosophy professors. Our daughter, Noelle and her husband, Nathan, live in Plattsburg. Nathan is a heavy equipment operator and Noelle works in the finance department at 360 Architecture in Kansas City. They have two daughters, Aubrey Joy and Isabelle Ann. Beware asking about pictures of the grandkids. I do carry some with me and "I know how to use them!"
This is my 37th year of teaching and I'm still loving it. I especially love being here at Ellison Elementary. This is my ninth year here.
